TNP Members

At our site itself any content that is posted by our artist is protected by a general Creative Commons License. This means any art posted at our site is not allowed to be “stolen” based on the fact that there is no direct copyright by the individual on our site. All Copyrights are therefore held and dealt with by the artists individually at their respective sites. Either way, Stealing is stealing so do not take our art and use it as your own; unless used for “Team Noir” Promotion (listed below) that is linked direct back to TNPPress.com or The Aritst’s website. By becoming a member, artists are also giving The Noir Project the right to distribute small samples of art work on fliers, promotional cards and other means to get the word out that we are a Collective at Conventions and other events.

Members are democratically chosen by the team through discussion and review of applicants. Once selected, members are protected by The Noir Project’s Creative Common License and are then allowed to use our name for promotion of themselves and us as well as represent us at conventions and other events. We expect members to post regularly, to keep there sites clean aesthetically and to participate in applicant reviews as well as various other project affairs. If these terms are broken we have the right to vote any given member out only after expressing concerns to the member in question.

Being part of the collective project entitles members to use of our store to sell their products. Items must first be approved by The Noir Project Owner ship and prices and shipping must be discussed prior to being placed at the store; any orders made with listed prices must be honored. Prices can be changed, but not at the expense of a customer who has already made an order. When funds are received, set prices and shipping will be transferred immediately from The Noir Project to the artist whose product was purchased. Artists have rights to thier money, but obligated to ship our customer the product as soon as possible once funds are received.

TNP Hosting

Prices for hosting will vary based on the number of people who are currently being hosted. Each member will pay an equal portion of our overall bill (inquire to find out this years pricing). By choosing us as your host we will be taking care of setting up your databases on our server and have administrative usage to your website for technical support; We will not make any changes to your site without your permission. We only require a small link in your footer saying “Hosted by TNPPress.com” in return for our services to spread the word about our hosting plan.

TNP Chat

As a collective we believe in freedom of expression and do not want to have to censor people from speaking their minds, but do sensor curse words via (***) due to built in setting in the chat program. That being said, we are not responsible for the actions or words of any user in the chat room at anytime; problems with particular users can be expressed to website admins (members with shields next to their names). Contact an admin privately by clicking the Administrators name then “Private Message,” and inform them of your issue and the admin will resolve the problem accordingly. Adminstrators have the right to remove (and/or ban) any user from chat with out prior consent.

The chat room can be used for general conversation to scheduled group meeting with other artists. Please consent Adminstrators prior to meetings to confirm that TNP Press Members do not have a prior meeting scheduled.

Store Policies

Please allow 1-2 business days to process your order. We will ship your order immediately after it is processed. All TNP Store orders, International & Domestic, ship through USPS First Class Mail. All prices include a $2 handling cost.

Because of the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns under any circumstances. The exception to this, is an even exchange, in the event a product is damaged upon delivery. At which point you must send us the product at your expense, and we will ship you a replacement, at no further shipping cost to you. If the damaged product is no longer available at the store, a refund will be issued for the amount you purchased the product for (before shipping & handling costs).

Custom Button Policies

Your button designs must be created using the provided template. We cannot guarantee results otherwise. Please use the template “layer” only as a guide for your design, and do not include it in the final image. Any elements you leave within the confines of the template’s dotted line, will show up on your product.

All images must be in CMYK mode, flattened, and saved as PNG, or TIFF (with LZW compression). We cannot guarantee quality satisfaction otherwise.

Once we receive your image(s), we will send a PayPal invoice, to the provided e-mail address. By submitting payment though PayPal, you are agreeing that the image(s) you have sent us is the image(s) you would like us to use in the creation of your custom buttons.

It will take us up to 7 days to fulfill your order. We are unable to provide a more specific timeline.

Once your order is processed (up to 7 days), we will ship it to the address provided, based upon your selected shipping method. You will then receive your order, within that selected timeframe. Your shipping options include:

United States:
- USPS First Class Mail
- FedEx 2Day

International Orders:
- USPS First Class Mail
- FedEx International Economy

As prices vary depending on order quantity and destination, we cannot provide shipping quotes. We will provide you with your shipping options and prices in an e-mail, after your order has been placed. All shipping prices include a $2 handling cost.

As the TNP Custom Buttons is a service, and not a product, we do not accept returns. We cannot guarantee your satisfaction in the design of the image on your buttons, only in the quality of the buttons themselves. It is recommended to place a proof order (of 1) before placing any larger-quantity orders. We also guarantee the accuracy of our template. In the case of defective products, we will send you a new batch, an no expense to you. We also reserve the right to refund the price (not shipping) and forgo replacement services.

Once the PayPal payment is received, the order cannot be cancelled for any reason. If an order invoice is unpaid in 5 business days, your order will automatically be cancelled. We will hold on to your information and files for an addition 5 business days before deleting them, incase you would like to replace your order.

All artist discounts are applied before the cost of shipping. Qualification is to determined at the discretion of TNP Press. You may re-apply for the discount in 90 days, from the date of a rejection. Reapplication is necessary for another order, if the new order exceeds the previous order by 2 years.

Team Noir

Anyone is qualified to become a “Team Noir Member”. By registering to because a “Team Noir Member” a person is saying that they are willing to help The Noir Project advertise in exchange for various items that will be available as prize. This however does not make them a “TNPPress Member,” that status is held only for qualified artist. Being a member and gaining point, which are awarded for successful promotion of the project not guarantee that item available at the time of exchange; some items are one of a kind.

To help promote The Noir Project, members of “Team Noir” are allowed to use preapproved material that is listed at the Team Noir Promotion Downloads page. Other images, art and comics are allowed to be use if they are linked directly back to TNPPress.com; by using them for advertising the you do not gain any rights to our images they are exclusively that of The Noir Project and/or the artist. If asked at any time to remove an image by The Noir Project or the individual artist who owns the right it, the Team Noir Member must do so immediately or else they may be disqualified from the competition.

By accessing “TNPPress Forums” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “TNPPress Forums”, “http://forums.tnppress.com”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “TNPPress Forums”. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “TNPPress Forums” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database.
